Hide detailsVietnam. While waiting for a train outside the Lao Cai train station in northern Vietnam, I noticed a woman riding her bicycle towards the small street market nearby. After dismounting, she produced a chicken, scales and a knife and began to prepare the bird on the side of the road. I noticed that she did her work over a metal tray - for hygiene reasons I guess.
